OSSINGTON STREET, W11

Client: Private individuals

So great to have clients that trust in what we do!

Opulence and romance for me was the key here. Our clients bought the property from a developer and moved straight in, and now we have made the house their home.

We transformed the master suite from a poorly designed space, which was lacking in storage and imagination whilst being very badly fitted, leaking and giving structural problems.

We decided to start from scratch by removing the structural dividing wall between the bedroom and the bathroom redefining the space, then disposing of every last memory from the previous experience. We were then able to create two very different areas with individual moods, divided by a single sliding opaque glass pocket door, allowing the entrant to be surprised by what lay beyond the glass screen.

In the bedroom, walnut was the overall finish using earthy pale tones on the walls, with a feature wall covering behind the bed. Convenient reading lights and a great deal of wardrobe space completed this room.

Beyond the glass door, wanting to give an air of Art Deco to this room, we introduced a stepped cornice. A lot of hand-picked high-gloss cappuccino marble, more walnut, Portland stone, high-quality chrome fitments and feature mood lighting. In playing with the heights and levels of the walls we were able to create a cool perspective, whilst adding a quirky twist to the overall atmosphere. We also redesigned the children's bedrooms at the top of the house, personalising them and making the rooms current.

The lower floors also benefitted from the LHD flavour... Living, dining and kitchen space were uplifted - changing the lighting, the floors and providing two custom-made fire surrounds in marble and stone.

And that's just a few of the new additions!

Our clients, whilst living in the property, were able to convey their very individual needs to us and we in turn created the space for them to enjoy.
