INDIAN ESSENCE

This project is all about London Heritage Design and the company's ability to Conceive, Organise and Implement.

We took the client's brief, then conjured up various options for the very tired and very ordinary site of some 290 square metres. After the owner's own input, we had a completed design –  which involved total refurbishment!

Due to many issues with the purchase of the site, the project was delayed. Our plan was always to open for the Christmas trade, but this plan was now seriously compromised.

The completion finally took place in mid-October and we started work straight away. Using our work force to their full potential, we worked double shifts where possible, and overlapped on trades. LHD owner, Patrick, spent every day on site organising that day's work and ordering materials for the next day's work. We finished the project to the client's total satisfaction within 31 days. The project involved complex finishes and complicated bespoke decorative panel designs. We incorporated back-lit LED light boxes, air-conditioning and porcelain tiles into the concept, creating an individual interior that will stand the test of time. Indian Essence was open for business 3 weeks before Christmas...
